Welcome to BidSmith!

We are an online auction platform where sellers from all over the US can hold auction format sales reaching the same bidders.  Once you register to bid with BidSmith, you will have access to all sales on our site.  You will see Estates full of Antique furniture, Business liquidations of inventory and fixtures, and Fundraiser auctions to benefit a wide variety of organizations.  Each of our auction events will be comprised of 4 main elements.

  1. Preview:  Most of our auctions will have a preview time clearly stated.  This Preview time gives bidders the opportunity to inspect items prior to placing bids.  Items can sometimes appear different in size, color, or material in person compared to pictures online, BidSmith strongly recommends previewing items prior to bidding.
  2. Bidding:  After registering to bid, you will receive an email containing your bidder number.  This number, along with your chosen password will be used when you participate in all of our online events.  Bids are placed in the boxes next to each item in the catalog.  You can click on the “next bid required” amount or enter your MaxBid.  The MaxBid feature allows BidSmith to bid for you against other bidders up to your maximum amount.  Once you place your bid, you will enter your bidder # and password in the boxes at the bottom of the page.
  3. Settlement:  All winning bidders will receive an itemized invoice of their winning bids.  The credit card on file will be charged automatically, unless otherwise noted.  All events will have s 15% buyers premium.
  4. Removal:  All items will be picked-up from the address noted in the event description.  Bring assistance for heavy items and packaging for fragile goods, neither will be provided by event staff.  All items must be removed during time of stated pick-up or will be considered abandoned.    Items that require specific tools or equipment for removal will be specifically stated in the items description.
